orneryboy: In case any of you only know me only through the crappy photos and angsty posts I make here on Tumblr, I’m also a failed webcomic artist! That’s right, for almost 10 years I’ve been publishing a comic called Orneryboy, andjust yesterday, I finally published my 500th strip. What is my comic about, you ask? Well, it’s about a bitter, angry guy and his perky, happy girlfriend, who live in a spooky old house in suburbia with their cats. Oh, and a zombie! I like to describe it as sort of a domestic romantic comedy, set against a backdrop of slapstick horror. It’s an odd mix of my own interests, so it’s geeky, gothy, grouchy, and gory. Sometimes all at the same time! But don’t take my word for it! You should totally click that picture and go to the website, and see for yourself if it’s something you would be into! And if you’re already a fan, thank you for reading, and here’s hoping I reach my 1000th strip someday. :)
